Chuck Smith, Esperanto Language Ambassador
Chuck Smith is an American Esperanto speaker now living in Berlin,
Germany. He founded the Esperanto Wikipedia (http://eo.wikipedia.org) which now has 125,000+ articles and spent half a year travelling through Brazil and Europe staying with Esperanto speakers along the way and attending events in this planned language. He then volunteered a year in Rotterdam for the World Esperanto Youth Organization (TEJO, www.tejo.org) followed by three months at the Calgary Esperanto Center. He has since been a board member of TEJO and now is currently president of the Berlin Esperanto Youth (http://www.esperanto.de/ej.berlin/). He believes this film has a great potential to spread awareness for conlangs in general, and is proud to translate this film to give it a wider international audience.
